What a crazy two weeks I’ve had. I’ll explain a little more later, but I’m moving! Of course, that means I will have to do some redecorating (already had a shopping blackout in Target and left with way too many throw pillows). I’ll be sure to post some home decor tips in the upcoming weeks. Decorating on a budget is just as fun as dressing on a budget. It’s all about the hunt!

You can never have too many black tops — right? When you look at my (color coded) closet, you’ll notice that black tops take up at least 60% of the space. They’re my go-to, so I obviously had to pick this one up from Goodnight Macaroon. This top is actually long and flowy, but I decided to tuck it in to give these distressed shorts a more polished look.
When putting together an outfit, I love pairing super girly pieces (like this adorable eyelet dress) with tougher pieces like this leather jacket and bandana. It adds a fun juxtaposition and unexpected element to your look. If you check out this dress on Goodnight Macaroon, you’ll see that it’s been worn by Emma Roberts and Olivia Palermo. A celeb look for less post might just be in order!
Growing up in a small seaside town, I’ve always been drawn to nautical pieces. Nothing screams nautical like a navy and white striped dress! This dress is definitely a little oversized, so I may recommend sizing down if you want a fitted look. I actually love the fact that it’s a bit oversized. Tie a sweater around your waist to give it some shape and you’re good to go!
